TROGAMID^® TCR: Transparent, highly durable films

TROGAMID^® TCR films are based on transparent, colorless PACM-12 polyamides by Evonik. They combine the outstanding properties of polyamides - impact resistance, stability, and excellent resistance to chemicals with excellent optical characteristics.

The films are transparent, colorless, and highly weather-resistant. Thanks to its high resistance to chemicals, the material is also used in a wide range of cosmetic products such as suntan lotions and hand creams.

Because of rising public health awareness, the use of sun protection products has increased. For higher sunlight protection factors, the concentrations of organic UV absorbers also have to be stepped up. However, these products, along with mineral-based light protection products, corrode plastic. TROGAMID^® TCR films can protect such surfaces.
