Well camouflaged

Seawater resistant TROGAMID® CX fins are a valuable tool for every freediver who wants to approach his target as closely as possible without casting a shadow. They are rigid and yet flexible enough for movement that is efficient but as unobtrusive as possible. Moreover, their high dynamic stress resistance, measured in terms of the number of cycles to failure, ensures the highest degree of safety for freediving, historically the earliest form of diving.

In freediving, also known as apnea diving, the diver descends under water on a single breath of air: Inhaling before the descent, he uses only this reserve of air. Already in the Stone Age freedivers were collecting mussels, sponges, and pearls, and spearing fish. Freediving is now practised as a leisure activity but also as a competitive and extreme sport.

Superb styling and protection

TROGAMID® CX is also a valuable accessory at the beach: Beach volleyball players, for example, must use protective sunglasses. Because the microcrystalline polyamide has very high stress-crack resistance, it offers the maximum possible safety for lenses of sports glasses—not only on a hot beach but also at the sub-zero temperatures for winter sports.
